Movie Review!!!

I only have a few minutes, but before I run off to take my son to karate at Diversity martial Arts I wanted to start a new post. And I think because I love to write so much, I have come up with an idea to write movie reviews. The only disclosure is that these are of the opinions of myself and only me.  It is not affliated with the opinions or thoughts of the owners or employees of the Historic Cedar Theatre.

I grew up watching the movie critics. They gave thumbs up and thumbs down and their interaction with each other was daunting.  I loved that they stuck to their opinions but were gracious enough to be respectful of each others opinions.

The Historic Cedar Theatre has a new movie this week.  The new movie is Expendenbles 2. It is rate R and many of you will instantly think..."Oh my gosh, a RATED R-how could they do this-I thought this was a family theatre." So many may not attend because of this and this is why I have decided to start adding my opinion and write my own movie review.

I have seen 2 rated R movies in the last 15 years. And Expendebles 2 was one of them. This movie featured Arnold, Sly, the Transporter Hottie, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, and the man from the Old Spice commercials.

I give this movie 2 Thumbs up...It had every element of surprise- Laughter, Tears, Intensity, Action, Fear.. Granted it was rated R for violence. It showed blood, guts, stabbings etc. But the story line and the love and loyalty these characters had for each other was phenomenal. And unlike Total Recal which was rated PG-13, Expendebles had ZERO sex scenes, no kissing, and no "F" word. I was so surprised because we know Bruce Willis who is the Die Hard celebrity who lives for the "F" word in that movie.  But honest to goodness-not ONE!! I would recommend this movie to anyone...

So go to the Historic Cedar Theatre and experience an action packed movie..

If you want something less violent and fun then go see Ice Age 4-You can never get tired of the squirrel chasing the nut. And Saints & Soldiers is playing as well.
